Punches and grapples won’t do you much good if you don’t have the force to back them up. So that’s where this routine comes in, made in honor of Mortal Kombat X! This workout targets your arms and shoulders to help you build up that upper body v-shape.
You’ll need a pair of dumbbells for this one (you can get them fairly cheap at most sporting goods stores if you don’t have any), at a doable weight for your skill level. Now get to it!
Note: Please remember that pushing yourself is healthy, but hurting yourself is not. Don’t try to do this circuit more times than you can handle, and listen to what your body’s telling you. One circuit should be more than enough for beginners, and I wouldn’t recommend three until you’re really seasoned.
